Ruth M. Reilly went to be with Lord on May 13, 2015. The story starts many years earlier. Dick & Ruth Reilly (founders of Maranatha Tours) were missionaries in Indian and the first Youth for Christ director in Calcutta. At that time World Vision was just getting started and Dr. Bob Pierce was the director. Along with Dr Pierce, the Reilly’s continued to do mission work for many year to come. In Ruth’s memorial she requested in lieu of flowers that contributions be given to World Vision since this was an organization dear to her heart. Donations in her honor may be sent to World Vision missions organization. Please include the Source Code 3100376 on a check or provide it on the phone (888-511-6519) if using a credit card. Address: World Vision, P.O. Box 78481, Tacoma, WA 98481-8481.
Bethlehem is the birthplace of our Lord. Today, it is a city that has many needs, but none more for the children of the city. One our partners, Mr. Hani Abu Dayyeh, has been involved with the Bethlehem hospital for many years. This is a place for a financial investment that will pay back in spiritual reward.
Dr. Kroll has been a friend of the family for many years. When he retired from Back to the Bible, he was 69. Instead of the speaking circuit, he created a series of teaching tools featuring his Bible and Theology teaching to be given to the third world pastors via solar devices, flash drives and in book form so they can learn at anytime. He took his ministry from teaching thousands to teaching millions.
Kim and Liz saw a need to help orphans here and abroad. This is a ministry that never has enough money. They could always bring or take one more. A great spiritual investment.
BYM BAGS: Because You Matter Bags – Helping the Helpless, Heart for the Homeless, and sharing the Love of Jesus – One BYM Bag at a time. We want to let everyone know they matter to us and especially to Jesus. He died on the cross because they matter. We have the opportunity –every single day–of sowing seeds into the lives of others, such as the homeless on the street, and even to our friends, co-workers, children, grandchildren, and yes, even strangers. God takes what you plant and adds to it. He leads others to sow further seed or “water” the ground. Little by little, truth gets cultivated in their lives. What greater thing could you do?
